The area is defined by its bright red, nutrient-rich, volcanic soil and cool climate, both of which contribute to the outstanding quality of the coffees produced on this farm. The owners; Richard Kiama and wife Beatrice Muthoni Murithi built a small mill in 2016 which is very unique to the area. As a result they control all elements of the processing to ensure their coffees are of the highest standard.
