Sourcing our coffee

We care a great deal about where our coffee comes from, that it's the best quality and that farmers and producers are supported in the supply chain.

We partner with coffee importers who are empowering smallholder farmers to improve their socioeconomic livelihoods and to grow more climate-resilient coffee in the future.

OUR BACKYARD

Circular Economy

With a focus on a circular economy and reducing our carbon footprint, we have diverted 10 tons of coffee grinds from landfill in the last 12 months through donating grinds to local community gardens.

We are partnering with Simply Cups who collect our customers take-away coffee cups on site and convert these into sustainable upcycled products including sustainable building materials.

Future generations

Community

We love our local community and are dedicated to supporting young people achieve their aspirations.

We offer a pro bono Barista Training program, in partnership with local community organisations, to support local youth to try their hand in making coffee or hone their barista skills. To find out more contact sunny@sunshinesocialco.com.au
